Anyone Can Meditate

Group Meditations for beginners and long time meditators

The First Friday of every month you are invited to join us for

Anyone Can Meditate

Free Group Meditations

Each call begins with an open discussion about meditation, various techniques, benefits, higher states of consciousness or other related topics. This is an opportunity to share experiences and get your questions answered.

Then dive in and experience how effortless meditation can be.  If this is your first time, I will be sharing an introduction to a silent mantra technique and then we will begin a 30 minute group meditation.

For those of you who are long time meditators, you know the benefits to group meditations.

Meditating in Groups Has Proven Positive Effects

We know that everything is energy and information. And the superstring theory in physics states that the waves of vibration flowing from everything in the universe affect the collective consciousness. Bruce Lipton, cellular biologist and author of Biology of Belief states that, in fact, our consciousness can change the physical world around us by altering this energetic field.

It is something that I have experienced personally. Back in the early 80’s I participated in an experiment testing a theory called “The Maharishi Effect”. In this experiment, 7000 people came together in Fairfield, Iowa to meditate together everyday for a week. During that week there were measurable improvements in the quality of life across the country. Decreases in violent crime, and increased confidence and economic prosperity were just some of the published results.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a tool for rediscovering the body’s own inner intelligence. Practiced for thousands of years, it’s not about forcing the mind to be quiet; it’s finding the silence that’s already there and making it a part of your life.

Silence is your essential nature and the birthplace of happiness, creativity and infinite possibilities. From this field of pure potentiality we get our bursts of inspiration, our most intuitive thoughts, and our deepest sense of connection to the Universe. Practicing meditation on a daily basis allows you to weave silence and stillness into your mind and body to create a life of greater compassion and fulfillment. Meditation is a journey to the center of our very being; a journey to emotional freedom; and a journey to the reawakening of our unconditioned self.
