ABOUT TRITONE CRISANTEMO
Masterplants Orchestra is an Interspecies Music Collective, founded by Benjamin Andersen, Tritone Crisantemo, Zigola Pioppo and their garden Plants in the summer of 2018. The same summer that we invented the Masterplants “Symphony” device (see picture above), with the help of Engineer Martin Luckman, and currently with Electronics Engineer Spiros Makros.
The “Symphony” Device is a Plant to MIDI interface that measures and converts a biosignal in the anatomy of the plant to musical notes. The purpose of the band is to show that humankind can create beauty in a world of inter-creation with the miracle that is nature herself. Over the past year, plant music has come to a point where the plants can play almost an entire concert by themselves. Playing a great variety of instruments, controlling voices and words, and even reciting poetry, akin to humans reading from a book. All that is needed is the technical setup and a few changes during the concert. Tritone Crisantemo is now traveling the world in order to share awareness and stimulate imagination in an Interspecies Art and creative project. Now is the time to join the everlasting universal collaboration.
